Ever since we moved here I have heard about this program they do at the bellevue mall where they make it fake snow every night at 7:00 from the beginning of Dec through Christmas. So we went to Panera and filled up on warm soup then hit the mall. It was CRAZY busy but I sort of loved it. Of course it made me shop happy but I resisted and we headed straight through macy's to the street they call snowflake lane. As you can see there are special snowflake lights up and down this street and drummer men statues at every light post. It was a packed crowd but we found a good spot on the sidewalk railing. Soon enough the show started with these highschool marching band kids. (all drummers in christmas drummer outfits) there were some of the students on stilts too handing out suckers to the kids which trinity and blake imediately opened and chowed on during the entire show. Basically it was a melding of recorded christmas tunes and and live drumming that the children really enjoyed. There really is some magic to the Christmas season and I was so happy that instead of sitting at home (our usual bent) we had gone out and enjoyed some of the special events the season has to offer. Trinity of course called it "the best day ever". Even blake said he enjoyed it and he usually says things "are boring".
