update

I should probably do this every day but I have always stunk at the journaling thing even though it has often been a goal of mine. Well, let's start with family. Tomorrow is Blake's first birthday!!! I am making sure all cameras are charged, cleaning the house, putting stuff away. . .it is crazy what you go through just to have a small gathering of like 40 people in your home. lol. I don't think we will all fit but in Blake's short life he has accrued a large crowd of admirers. What can I say? He is almost walking, he does great with his walker. Trinity and her neighbor friend Noah have been having a blast with teh finally warming weather. We played outside for almost two hours today and it wore trinity out! Trinity has a new fish tank and we got her a frog for it. it is so adorable, I love watching him swim around. She also has a new imaginery friend; a robot named Plex. He goes everywhere with us and she reminds me not to step on him. It's pretty funny. Jeremy's company continues to grow slow and steady; I can't ask for much more. (benefits, retirement, whatever. . .) He has an office and an employee and it seems to be working so far. He says he wants to get a new car but we will just see about that. We go to home group every other friday and I have a new friend at church; stephanie. She is my "mentor". It has been fun so far, we are trying to begin a purposeful relationship with goals like encouraging each other in our prayer lives and so forth. The family keeps busy with world of warcraft, scrapbooking, reading, and playing at the park. (Not to mention lot's of shopping with not much buying, mostly just to get me out of the house). So that is the quick update. Maybe I will get around to filling you in on other stuff later but gotta go for now.

Uncle Jim and Aunt Daundra's Party

So I have no pictures of the party of course, lame I know but it went really well and I think Aunt Donney and Uncle Jim were soooo excited to see us. They didn't take their eyes off of the children the whole time we were there and they couldn't wipe the smiles off their faces. Just wish Zack, Shel and Morgyn could have been there. We had a great time and celebrated Nat's and my birthday at Macaronis. I had my first cosmopolitan. I have been wanting to try one. It was pretty good but you know me, alcohol just never really impresses. Friday was the party and Saturday we shopped and hung out. Sunday we went to church and it was really great Then I flew home and Blakey had a fever so that was no good, but he was fine the next day. Here are some pics of the kids and a few of all of us in front of the basque hotel in the basque square.

blake and the hooter girls

So I know that these all seem to be picture posts. Ah well, one of these days. . .
I don't think much needs to be said, do you think he's having fun???

mom and dad visit

well mom and dad showed up on my doorstep last sunday for a surprise visit. I ran screaming to the door and jumped up and down for about five minutes. Yeah, I don't miss them at all. Dad had meeting monday and tuesday so mom and I cruised around. Including going to this fun furnitures store down in puyallup called the Old Cannery. It has all of these cool train tracks suspended from the ceiling and stuffed animal head that have funny recording and "talk" to you. It's a little touristy but that's what makes it fun. Let's see what else? of course we did some shopping and I had to show mom all of the new clothes that blake had just in case she forgot how cute he is and blah blah blah. lol. Mick and blake had a great time, blake kept "head butting" him and trying to grab his feet but Mick kept his cool. So here are some pics.
