Christmas 2014

Christmas has been amazing this year. We miraculously managed to get all three lined up in perfect order with everyone pretty much healthy and happy. It was a great time to reconnect before the new year. We are still east at my parents until the new year but I wanted to get these pictures done while I am at my sister's for a few nights as she has unlimited data on her internet plan so I can upload plenty photos and not worry. This year I threw all my pics into a "Christmas season" folder so it might be a little overload. On the other hand I was very annoyed that I lost some pics that I hadn't had a chance to "share" when I upgraded my new phone. There was so much in December that happened that I should have written down. Now it's just going to look like a bunch of fun pictures and not all the blood, sweat, and tears that went into this month. Blake began basketball and Trinity finished a big school project and did a terrific job on it. We have enjoyed all the extra cousin time this season brings. Last but not least the kids were delighted it FINALLY snowed. They spent most of the day today out sledding. I'm sure tomorrow will be the same. Also momentous for December: Blake loses his first TWO teeth..
we begin our Holiday Season Saga with Trinity's Francisco Coronado costume.

moving on Snowflake Lane, where Blake drops his sucker EVERY YEAR somewhere gross in the mall and proceeds to put it back in his mouth.

Pictures of Blake's first basketball game

At one point Blake got his eye poked and came crying to me. I thought he wanted another kid to sub in for him but he went back out and played and everybody clapped for him It was pretty adorable. Yes, moms get to call their boys' basketball "adorable".

After the game we headed down to Grandma Trudy's to celebrate.
She had asked the kids to pick a theme for their gifts. Blake's was "things that move" and Trinity's was "whatever Grandma wants to get me". Lol that was after quite the debate over themes I thought were ultimately not going to work for her. Trinity got quite a treat with roller skates and Blake and Isaac got a lot of gamer stuff which they loved.

You know what? I think I'm going to have to make mom and dad's a separate post. Whew! too much Christmas for one sit-down. I mean we are talking like two weeks of it after all.
