July- the marathon of summer

After the fourth we kept right on motoring through the month of July. I got a little more acquainted with the Shoreline area as the kids and I attended Parent Practicum for Classical Conversations. It was great to go and be encouraged by people of like mind. I learned that I just need to keep it simple this year and consider it "dipping my toes". I have all my books now and I'm a little freaking out as it all gets closer to starting. I mean, I want to travel to mom and dad's in August and I'm not even sure if it starts in August or September so that might affect what I want to do at the end of summer. Also, I already have guilt that I haven't cracked open all the books and began lesson planning. Such is life.
Some of the random things that have time marching on in July would be helping my friend Carol empty her garage, sports camp, and level one sewing camp for Trinity. Trinity got a shout out at Run to Win for her effort in a new sport and Blake earned some Skittles for saying his bible verse the fastest. I was SO GLAD that Trin's friend Hannah did the camp with her. She had so much more fun with her encouragement and I know there would have been a ton more fights and arguments in the car if she hadn't been there to be the happy medium between Trin and Blake. lol  One day Trin was at sew camp the boys and I hit the whale waterpark again. We hadn't been there since last year. Blake finally mastered the "big whale" and Isaac had a ton of fun trying to stop the spinning globe.
Also exciting as far as my hum drum life; I-90 hired a new worship leader! I'm excited to build more stable teams and help execute Lucas' vision as we look to the future of our church. Last but not least there were fun trips to Ikea, playing with puppies, random pictures by Trin, and birthdays with the extended Diviney family.
. . .and by last but not least I mean this does NOT include the megathon of photos that will come from the Basque Festival next week. You might want to skip that one honestly if your aren't into lamb sandwiches, shepherds carts, and traditional Basque music and dance.
