treats after dropping off all the kiddos on a hot afternoon

Almost eight, just a few more days and we will celebrate in Chelan
For Blake's birthday we opted out of a party at home in favor of a bowling/arcade party in Bellevue. It was so nice to just load up the boys (ad sasha) and take them there then return them home! No fuss, no muss. Blake had a GREAT time, saying he favored the Arcade but it was the bowling that sold me. Blake had a Godzilla decorated cake which he decided the day of so we resorted to printing it and sticking it on with chopsticks. The lettering of the cake was in red and the restaurant at the facility had red lighting so you couldn't really see it. Pretty sure the kids didn't care what the cake looked like. Blake has chosen a really great group of friends from school and I hope to see them continue fostering the relationships throughout third grade.
After his early party on Saturday, Sunday was Father's Day. I had worship at church so Jer decided to just stay home with the kids. Then he went with a friend to Jurassic World. Then on Tuesday it was on to Chelan for our summer kick-off trip!

after Chelan we headed to my parents.

Happy Birthday Blake, you turned EIGHT!!!!
fun in the sun and some belated gift-giving with family.
thank you Nancy Jane and Uncle Brian, Nee Nee and Granda, and everyone else!
after the weekend at moms we headed into Natalie's where there was AIR CONDITIONING.

they made the cookies all by themselves

this one fell about a hundred times but kept right on going!

I really love spending time with my family. There is no place I would rather be.

and this is what happens after a week of hard play and late nights.
