Fall - Christmas 2019

I want to start the year knowing I have at least thrown some pictures up and that all can get at least a glimpse into this falls doings and Christmas.

There will be lots of school pictures, tutoring is a big part of my day to day so I try to document community time with a few pictures a week.
Sara Groves hasn't had a Christmas album out in years and years. I was so pleased to get a chord chart booklet of the songs AND this signed CD when I pre-ordered a package set. I will always fondly remember grabbing a night away in Moses Lake with my fried Morgan and my mother and sister. We all love Sara's songwriting and hold that December weekend particularly fondly in our memories.
CC attended the Bellevue planetarium and the astronomer working there declared us the most knowledgeable class she had worked with that year. Lol what a bunch of star nerds.
This is Zeeva. She belongs to Jeremy's grandmother Jan who we had the privilege of visiting in
November. Unfortunately my phone died the minute I got there so there is no picture of us together. She lives with one daughter and another is close by so we got to see two of his aunts as well. Losing two grandmothers this year I found it especially important to spend time with the remaining elders of the family we have left.

This is about as Halloween as it gets.

Isaac can be so spontaneous in his affection. I just love it.

We had such fun with our first few weeks of beautiful weather at CC. WE played lots of games outside including some square of opposition races.

This was the highlight of Trinity's fall, our attending an NF concert together.

 Timelines and galaxies.
Totoro, Christmas, Music = perfect hoodie.
 THANKSGIVING

Blake had to put together some ornaments for this year's CC Market Day and he chose these tealight snowmen. They had about 24 when they were all done, all different and all pretty cute.

Timber Creek mercantile on our annual shopping day post thanksgiving. Now we go to Molbaks AND this place each year. Lol!

Molbaks!

Funko store with cousins!
I thought this was funny blake was matching the piano teachers arm chair.
best day is double cocoa bean day!

A little local shopping, Old Snoqualmie really outdid itself this year!!

LOL Blue Book day is so much fun! I always  scroll though a few holiday housewalks while the kids study. It's well earned I think. *wink

My class worked on a timeline all semester and made these dioramas of astronomers to display to the F/E levels.

After Blue Books we celebrated the semesters end with the greater Challenge community with dinner and a movie. They had BLACK icees. Trinity was thrilled #eyeroll

Sugar cookies with an old friend and her adorable kiddos.

Christmas with Trudy, Mike, William, Zach, Zoey, Hailey, Amber and Isabelle

My Hero Academia hoodie. Happy Girl.
Always reads the minute he gets books. He cracked us up as Trudy has been buying him Peanuts books since last year and "Apparently" he is over them. He wanted to say he didn't want them but knew that would be rude so he said instead, "you don't have to buy me anymore grandma, my collection is complete". I laughed so hard. I'm glad he is thinking outside the box. And even though he was sort of saying no thanks he began reading them right away.

Then we switch below to Ray and Sue's for Christmas with them and Ashley/Marshall/Odie and Brittany/Trevor. I can't believe I spaced pictures with people but got one of the Sue's tree. I really do enjoy spending time with all of Jeremy's family.

Below we decided to do a little family Christmas before heading to mom and dad's to reduce what we were packing across the state. Isaac got a new scooter for the skate park, Trin and Blake a punching bag and gloves (because they are at that age), and several outfits and random presents for each. These pictures are backwards in time because of how I uploaded them.

Trying to get a picture with these monkeys.

Then we went HOME for the HOIDAYS!
So enjoyable to use the She Reads Truth Advent cards as name tags.
We were sideswiped by a stomach bug (JUST BLAKE praise God) so the whole Diviney family stayed at my sisters instead of going to the new years dinner at my Aunt Nicole's. The kids were bummed but I don't want to be a germ sharer. I thought we may have to postpone Christmas a day but He was clearly on the mend by evening and we just prayed and disinfected everything and hoped for the best. And Christmas happened lol.
I didn't really take any pictures of the Miller morning. Trying more this year to just put the phone away and interact with humans. It's so much harder than it sounds.

The next few days were filled with fun and festivities although admittedly it was more low key this year. Blake's virus and NO SNOW (the worst!!!!) made for a simpler visit as there weren't kids suiting up and coming back in ten times a day. Still time with family is special and needed. We ice skated, got out on the town (mom, nat, and I) and shared some epic game night fun with friends and loved ones.
This year has brought unprecedented challenges for our family but we have fought to stay close and to share each others burdens in love. I'm somewhere between looking forward to and dreading what the new year holds but what I know is, this too in its current form shall pass and God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
