DIVINEY FAMILY: July 2016

So the rest of June flew by. Blake wrapped up third grade, we attended Practicum to prepare for tutoring at CC next fall, and we moved on to our first vacation; some time at my mother-n-laws at Chelan and then on to my parents for the week surrounding the fourth. It was busy busy busy! I was sick the whole time with an allergy attack that morphed into a summer cold. Great to hang out with Jeremy's mom and my sister-in-law and her girls. Trudy brought William and Isabelle so all the cousins were there. They had a great time discovering the slow-mo on my iphone. Trinity had it as well but though she was very quiet she still had a good time hanging out with all the cousins. The boys had a blast with the new go-cart and loved having Nee Nee's pool up. The weather got a little chilly for it at the end of the week but that's okay we went into town and stay with nat a couple of nights. Thanks mom and dad for taking good care of me while I sick, I still managed to have a pretty good time though I was totally hopped up on Sudafed, ibuprofen, and Clariten. Lovely as always to attend GBC my church home and to watch the fireworks from a dock on Diamond Lake. Super nostalgic thank you Amber and Paul for letting us crash your shoreline! Oh, and trinity kool-aid dyed her hair. My only downer for the month was our good friends the Stanleys making the move back to the East Coast. Boo-hoo.

4rth of July Parade

This lady was playing live music for the walkers i twas AWESOME. She was playing Anchors Away. thankful to my papa who spent all his time watching old movies that I know this song.

the firetruck comes every year and hoses down the kids after the hot walk in the parade. lol

he's so dang cute! his dentist calls it a "hollywood" smile. That means no space between the teeth which means his grown-up teeth will most likely be crowded. lol

this was our church. we were trying a new thing. an open house style vigil for the people we lost in the shooting in Orlando. I was the only one that came. Sad, no? I took a picture to remind myself to pray that the next time the seats would be filled. We need to do another one for France.

Go-cart fun.

yes the whole case was momentarily in my cart but I restrained myself and pulled just four out. It was sitting on a big cart ready to restock the shelves. How funny would it have been if the worker turned around and all the rainbow chip they had ordered in had vanished?? lol
