SEA WORLD

So we took the kids to Sea World. It turned out to be the perfect day for it. It wasn't too hot and the kids enjoyed every part of it. We got totally soaked at the dolphin show and the whale show was awesome as usual. I love sea world becuase it is so accessible. They have a new playland area that is perfect for the toddler age with rides and sprinklers for cooling off at. I videod more than I took pictures and I totally failed on getting any footage of shamu even though he was swimming right past trinity. Still I did get some cute pics of them in the playland and stuff.

fish

so I was thinking the other day that for posterity's sake I should name all of our beloved fish over the past three years. Our bettas and danios have been very good to us and having a "no pet" lease has only allowed for our happy little tank. Unfortunately, the happy tank is empty right now but we hope to fix that. I will update with pics when we have some new buddies. Our lone survivor right now (mercucio) is in a bowl. I have pics of a few.

1st betta - romeo (he was also the longest lived at almost two years)

then in no particular order =

Tybalt -very cool blue-green/pinkish

Reef - red and very "cool" attitude, definately from so-cal. = )

Maximus Bettamus - rather boring but probably the best name, Jeremy's pick

Neptune - the most beautiful silver-blue fins ever! a gentle soul

the danios (three zebra, three golden) they did not have names

the neons (three)

alex the frog - we miss you!!!!!

(reef)

Easter Eggstravaganza

The kids had a blast doing the easter egg hunt. Some of the neighbors came over and joined us. Trinity's little buddy noah is moving soon so we are trying to get lots of play time in. I feel sad that her first little buddy is leaving. sniff. Kabir will be going with her to the same kindergarten this year. Big doings! I love the picture where blake is obviously talking up a storm and telling someone what to do. Bossy britches!
